Focus: A Weapon for Success
Greetings Royals!
It has been some time since you’ve last heard from me. I don’t expect that you have been holding on to your seats in great anticipation of a new post. But if you have, I deeply apologize for disappointing.
Every now and then, it’s good to step back and re-evaluate your projects and goals. And I encourage you to do this as well. Because as we grow, our view of things changes and our willingness to expend our energy on certain things, often changes as well. Truth is, I’ve had to re-evaluate Royalty Press. This project would have started as early as 2010, with a free WordPress site under the address ‘kapurnum’. Since then both I and the blog site have developed, and that development as brought us here. Painstakingly posting what I believe is still valuable and life changing information, if applied. But too inconsistent to be dependable. For the latter I apologize.
I have been going through a process of re-evaluating my voice here and the mission of Royalty Press. I can say with certainty that the mission remains and that this is by no means a good bye. But it’s more like a confident hello. Confident because in my silence I have been learning too. I know that the responsibilities and uncertainties of life’s stages, has the power to blur the vision we first had in our minds. But knowing that, doesn’t stop it from happening. So oftentimes we need people who can help us regain and stay in focus. People can come along to remind us of how important what we do is and sometimes they come around to offer us their support. You need to surround yourself with persons who are able to keep you attentive to what is important. In this time dear Royals, focus is very important. It is pivotal to your success, in a world drowning in distractions. Dangerous distractions, because on the surface many can appear so constructive.

Focus: This will be the theme for Royalty Press this year. I hope you will have as much fun unpacking this concept as I hope to have.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to continue to take those bold steps in the direction you are being called. And to not be afraid to release what is no longer working for your good. Remember that focus isn’t just an action it’s a mindset. It’s a weapon against distraction, procrastination… failure.
So… get in focus.

It is with this word that I close today’s post; my first engagement with you for the year 2020. And open Royalty Press for the upcoming year. I intend to work on those inconsistencies you may have come to expect from me, with a little help from some friends. In the mean time feel free to browse around the website, while you wait.
